The church lifts people, and therefore lifts our communities. Here are a few ministries from North American Missions that help plant, grow, and multiply the church.
Metro Missions exists to facilitate and promote church planting in North America’s largest, most densely populated cities. A Metro Missionary goes into an urban area to reach souls and establish churches, and is supported by partners. For over 25 years, Metro Missions has been a successful tool of evangelism for the United Pentecostal Church. Steve Smith is the ministry coordinator.
Church in a day
Church in a Day is a program in which skilled laborers and an abundance of volunteers converge on a plot of land, and in less than 24 hours have a functional church built. The money saved in construction costs places the new church far ahead of the curve. Church in a Day is an amazing feat, and has been featured on media outlets throughout the country. The Indiana District built a Church in a Day in Indianapolis at this years General Conference! Terry Long is the ministry coordinator.
We welcome Rev. Scott Sistrunk as our new TRAINING Ministry Coordinator! You cannot be serious about planting churches, unless you are serious about training. Bro Sistrunk, and his team are excited about LAUNCH - Church Planting Solutions. This is a one year program designed to accelerate the next generation of church planters. The first class is January 24-27, 2017 in St. Louis, MO. Go to www.launchachurch.faith to register by January 13. There are also other training resources available.

Since 1982 CPF has trained and certified more than 3,000 volunteers for ministry in the correctional environment. Through CPF, you can contact a network of certified chaplains trained and dedicated to reaching your friends, family, and neighbors behind bars or in transitional living facilities. If you desire to serve in this ministry, CPF can equip and empower you to be involved. Michael Rickenbaker is the ministry coordinator.
The Evangelist Ministry recognizes and promotes the Biblical role of evangelist as stated in Ephesians 4:11 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."
The Evangelist Ministry is dedicated to preach the gospel and effectively minister by partnering with pastors worldwide to gather vision, faith, and harvest, saving the lost, and edifying the church. Pastors can confidently book a licensed, enrolled evangelist that will bless your church. Tim Greene is the ministry coordinator.
Quebec is the largest French speaking province of Canada. Currently, it is considered the only District of the UPCI that is in North American status. As such, NAM Director Jimmy Toney serves as the superintendent, and we are focused on reaching this province through planting churches. Our greatest growth in Quebec in recent years has been through cross-cultural evangelism. Two Metro Missionaries are reaching Quebec, Scott & Liane Grant in Montreal, and Melissa Fross in Quebec City. For more information, contact the North American Missions Director- Paul Graham.
